And you get some of their worst days with those people ☹️I couldn’t deal with pet owners with sick pets. I am THE best client. Surprise $3k bill? No worries! I’ll pay with a smile…and cry later 😆

This is so true. Working in the field made realize it. I will start vet school in August, and got in on my first try. I try to guide my fellow prevet colleagues but they don’t listen 🤷🏻♀️

This is exactly the same thing with human doctors. Some have amazing bedside skills and communication skills and others just simply do not. Those are the ones that usually pick surgery or pathology or some such more distant specialties.
