Indonesia’s military doctrine is mainly for defense. So power projection using aircraft carrier is not necessary. The cost of maintaining it will force them to increase VAT again 😂

Nah, we don't need an aircraft carrier. Indonesia have 17.380 Islands that can become a military bases in time of conflict. And our military doctrine are defensive also didn't have any outside enemies. In the future our enemies is within, province/region that wants independence 😅😅

As Indonesian I didn't know that..But if we buy it's more defense or humanitary/ disaster missions, Indonesia has already 3 miltairy hospital ships in active.
