In Tennessee I’m told in elementary school they don’t want them memorizing the times table like we did. Smart children are good but also a pain sometimes 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣

Here’s a trick for the 9s table I wish I was taught as a kid. Start at your left pinky and just count up. 6 would be your right thumb down. Leaving 5 and 4 or 54

Use addition to solve it. 6 times 8 is 48 and 9 more you have 54. School House Rock is on Disney Plus now use that since it's visual and musical.

Memorizing multiplication tables is useless. The important thing is being able to derive it, not rattle it off the top of your head. Ask any adult what 17*7 is and watch their eyes glaze over 😂
