Fussy Baby :
Babies cry when on their back because of the Moro or Startle reflex. This reflex makes them feel like they are unsupported or they are getting a sudden change of sounds or movements …so nappy changing, laying them flat to swaddle, a loud noise etc. It diaappears by 3-6 months of age.
