imo, I can understand it for a senior/VP position but short of that, it gives the impression that the company is over-managed, lacking in decisiveness and just inefficient.

My last role was 8 rounds... I got the job... left at 10 months... Other people were miserable, my boss was a closeted racist... stealing from the company.... I will accept 3 rounds.

Agreed! It’s honestly abusive how these companies will bait/switch or lead people on. I’ve worked for myself for 2 decades to avoid power hungry employers. I refuse to be abused. Nope.

Here are my stats. 176 applications, 24 1st rounds, 7 4th rounds, 4 presentations. 2 jobs changed from remote to RTO, 1 job changed the scope. All 7 have reposted the role.
