I'm not against it, but i'm just gonna share my insight about it. For me, it's our choice to become like them, why? Because even if they're irresponsible or like that, we still can be different from them if we want to, I know others learn it from their parents but it's still our choice. We have option, whether to follow their path or make our own path. There are parents that are good at parenting but their child is still a bad person or what, because it's their choice. There are also bad parents but their child is a good person, because it's their choice. Our parents have responsibility, but we also have, everyone have. Our parents might be the reason of our action, but the action was made by us, not made by them.

i hate it actually. i raised my voice cause i wanted to be heard yet they misunderstood it, they think i disrespect them cause i raised my voice at them but in reality i was so tired trying to explain my side, my POV, and ended up raising my voice to be heard and to be understood.

the part where they'll always take the blame on you for all the bad things that's happening just because you were there when it was happening and they're just ashamed to take the blame. That literally makes us lack self-respect. The feeling of moving out to another country when you're finally financially successful without them feels like I've grown wings, like I'm finally living a peaceful life.

I'm a lawyer now, I argue, and raise my voice to be heard for my client. But inside the house I grew up, I was silent. Not silent, but silenced. Nothing comes up from my mouth everytime they argue and talk to kill e/o, and nobody asked me how I'm doing. In their eyes, I'm silent.
