On Day 1 of the Kianna Davis Trial, five employees from Primary Pediatrics testified about the condition of 2-year-old Karter Ambrose when he was carried into the office. Staff members described him as limp and unresponsive, and a registered nurse testified that he was not breathing, had no pulse and was cold to the touch. Other witnesses described what the man accompanying Karter said about vomiting, diarrhea, breathing problems and a possible seizure. The prosecution and defense also delivered opening statements. Kianna Davis is charged with seven counts, including malice murder, felony murder and child cruelty, in connection with her son’s November 2020 death. Prosecutors allege Davis and co-defendant Kiyon Benton caused a fatal liver injury and failed to obtain immediate medical treatment. Davis has pleaded not guilty. ##TrueCrime #Courtroom #Trial

👇 . . . Did you know which are the oldest mountains in Romania? ⛰️ Located in northwestern Dobruja, the ancient Măcin Mountains formed over 250 million years ago and hide a unique, history-filled landscape! Although the highest point is Țuțuiatu Peak (467 m), they impress with their spectacular rocks, granite formations, and ruiniform relief. Being the only national park outside the Carpathians, Măcin shelters a fabulous biodiversity, combining steppe and Mediterranean forest elements, home to half of Romania's plant and bird species!
