Tbh I think colour seasons can be a marginally fun, yet ultimately pointless thing, as long as you don’t spend any money on it bc the result are pretty much negligible. You do not need a new wardrobe!

i disagree about kibbe and colour seasons. i think these are just tools people have to feel better attuned with what will suit them, without having to overconsume or compare themselves to people who have differing features. it embraces different types of beauty and discourages comparison. in my experience kibbe and colour season stuff actually really helped with my body dysmorphi. its much better than buying into the mainstream comparison and trend bs so if people want an alternative this is a good solution. if you dont want anything to do with it then dont have anything to do with it

one of the worst examples i’ve seen was colour analysts “proving” that “not everyone looks good with their natural hair colour” by showing celebrities with dyed hair or natural hair & pointing out how “unflattering” their natural colour is

for me (at least w colour seasons), as long as it's not seen as to be followed religiously but rather as a sort of "complimentary/contrast" mindset where one harmonizes and the other draws attention🟥

I have a different perspective on color analysis. I dislike videos where analyzers analyze ppl that didn’t ask, but I think it’s viewed as trivial bc women study color theory more than men
