as an ex-"moderate" myself, it's wild to see this new trend on the right. it's literally just the same outrage over affirmative action, but now they're comfortable calling people DEI hires which most moderates and conservatives would NOT have said 5 years ago, though I'm starting to suspect a lot of them wanted to this whole time. i just don't understand why they don't just say affirmative action. is it just to sound younger?
