This can’t be used on thin bendy nails as I understand it. It’s too hard so it works best on nails that are already strong. I swear by the mega stick base though. For a harder gel that still soaks

I think kokoist specifically formulated their line so that they have different hardness level for different nail types. nail thoughts for more flexi nails, platinum filler for harder nails, etc.

I use Kokoist exclusively and never have those issues. I do a lot of nail and cuticle prep - Love Kokoist!! Lasts 4+ weeks and long nails

Aw dang, the Korean and Japanese gels have been next level for me! Having said that, pfb is not my fave. I also exclusively use Kokoist Mega Stick Base, with everything.

Korean and Japanese gels are superior. They tend to use higher quality ingredients and purer resin. Kokoist is Japanese. They have different options so you have to find what works like Nail Thoughts!

I feel like it’s a good product if you buy everything else you need for it to work, aka their primer and mega stick base…shouldn’t have to spend that much on products just for it to work as it should!

I would not use PFB on short nails since it’s a harder builder. You should use nail thoughts for shorter nails

The base I use with it is the Mega Stick Base for refrence! (Which is also SO expensive for amount of mL)

This is on the harder strength side of gels…not intended for use of soft bendy nails…only strong long ones.

I lovee pfb on my longer nail clients and their retention has been great. Nail thoughts for my short to medium lengths. I continue to buy the refills too!

I had terrible lifting on every single client I used it with and it had one of the worst heat spikes of any gel I’ve ever tried. I’m also not a fan of the mega stick, it never worked right for me

Hey! I have this happen on some clients. When this happens it means it’s not right for their nail type. When this gel works for a client it’s INCREDIBLE. Platinum filler works awful even w mega stick

I prefer the Nail Thoughts bases, I’m having the same lifting from the free edge issue with the platinum filler base because my nails are too flexible for it. It’s Japanese, not Korean btw.
