but a point relief mini massager and massage that area on the tendon. it has helped me with a heat hand pack. I have also used putty or play dough ro have my hand move around. the injections hurt like hell.

I got one for my neck/back I cried more from the shot then the darn pain iv been in and guess what mhm it's back! next option for me is surgery n ya 2 young n way to close to my c2 terrified 😨

I bought a finger splint from pharmacy. After a couple weeks of wearing it, especially at night, it relaxed & stopped hurting.

I have the same issue. Once a year I have to go get the shot. I honestly don't mind the shot at all. I just hate doctors so I don't want to go.

I used a finger brace so I didn’t bend the knuckle and it stopped the trigger finger

OT here 👋 take some anti-inflammatories & buy a figure 8 splint & wear throughout day & especially at night to prevent that knuckle from bending. Lots of rest to decrease overuse.

I would avoid Cortisone shots if you can. For inflammation I use diluted helucrysum essential oil or if you like an OTC anti inflammatory. Also splint it. Only take the splint off to wash and avoid...

OT here! Find a trigger finger splint that will hold your finger straight preferably one that will go down into the palm. Plenty on amazon. Wear for a few weeks and do tendon gliding(as long as trigger is correctable with your muscles). Massage perpendicular to the finger on the nodule and joint just above.
