unsolicited sorry but re; the thyroid thing, you might consider getting hormones checked if they didn’t do that. PCOS can cause weight gain/retention and you don’t have to have cysts for diagnosis

It’s a great deal (financially). I have to get a yearly CT (and it was authorized) and my insurance paid 24 cents

I get mine done there every year at Bumrungrad. It truly is a great hospital. They check everything and immediately refer you to specialists if necessary.

this was cheaper than what I paid for some stitches on my thigh at an urgent care that took my insurance. FYI I paid a little over 1k

tbh as an Australian I would pay $800 for that. doctors here refuse to acknowledge that you could have something less obvious than a cold and even tho it's free to get ultrasounds or bloods you'd still pay $800 in gp fees arranging it all. I'd get an mri too, they're $250 to $500 here WITH medicare

As someone who’s had their thyroid completely removed, a total thyroidectomy it’s wild to hear somebody say that they’re sad. They don’t have a thyroid problem. 😳
