From my experience of detailing and buying new glass from used shops usually y’all buff the glass with a compound like it with a car, but it’s meant for glass if you’re doing a professional because it removes both water spots and scratches

Any fabric softener will work. They’re just hard water softeners it doesn’t have to be a specific brand.

I’ve been doing Auto glass for 30 years. The best thing to use is diluted vinegar, white vinegar, and a power scrubber like a white magic eraser.
