Y’all this is a PASHTUN dress there is nothing wrong with calling it such, don’t know why you’re so pressed. Just like how hazaras have hazara hi dresses, and Tajiks ahve their own as well as Uzbeks so do Pashtuns and this is a Pashtun dress. It’s Pashtun before it’s afghan and yes the creator should have acknowledge it as such with at least a tag calling it Pashtun or Pashtun dress or even Pashto but she didn’t which is why people are rightfully calling it out. Yes it’s part of afghan culture but before that it’s Pashtun. So stop claiming Pashtun culture and erasing its heritage and saying it’s something belonging to all afghans. It doesn’t belong to all afghans, it belongs to Pashtuns BUT yes other non Pashtun afghans CAN wear while also giving credit and NOT denying its heritage. This creator I guess is neutral because she hasn’t called it hazara hi but she hasn’t acknowledged it’s Pashtun heritage so it’s not wrong for people in the comments to call her out for it.
