@meolafrancesco: And it’s one of the most beautiful in the world ❤️ I’ve hear many people saying Venice is overrated and even that it’s not worth visiting. To me this is insane, you’ll never find a city in the world like Venice, and to me it’s one of the most beautiful. For most people visiting this city means seeing St Mark’s Square and Rialto Bridge and a few canals. However, Venice is so much more. Get out of the super crowded path from the station to St Mark’s Square, and you’ll find a different city, much more quieter and less crowded that you’d expect. The Cannaregio, Castello and Dorsoduro areas are some of the best, and are often overlooked. They have a much more local feeling, and some of the best bars and restaurants are located here. If you’re planning a trip to Venice take your time to visit the city and don’t just do it as a day trip. Ideally you can stay 2 nights here, but even staying one night will for sure be better than a day trip.
