@venderickshealingpaw: Look who’s back and her abcess has drained!!! It drained outwards which is always the goal, and because it did so the risks have significantly decreased. This is a huge step in the right direction. Now in a perfect world I would have contained her, provided warm compresses, cleaned her wound thoroughly, administered antibiotics, and spoiled her endlessly with snacks until she could be released back into her territory. However that just wasn’t possible since she is a nursing mom. Still keeping an eye on her but happy to see her this morning. #squirrels #wildlife #abcess #mommasquirrel
