The only reason schools have had to turn into army boot camps is because the number of children being dragged up with no respect is growing SO fast, they’d be feral without these rules

Millennials have become the worst parents, coming from a millennial. Our parents would have done exactly what the school asked and followed the rules. I don’t get why parents don’t parent any more.

Uniform isn't actually about control. It's a lesson in teaching them to take pride in their appearance, to be part of a community and that yes, sometimes, you have to conform to certain expectations.

Also, the small stuff (colours of socks etc) all adds up until eventually they don’t respect staff about the big stuff. Undermining teachers ultimately leads to kids being unsafe in school 🤷🏼♀️

I have noticed parents are the problem from working in nursery. I’ll never forget a parent got mad cause her son was “forced” to apologise to another child he hurt. Like are u okay???🤣🤣
