Got fired from Wingstop 4 days ago, and that’s not even the worst part. After working a 10 hour shift on my feet, I walked out to the parking lot to find Police waiting behind my car. My manager had called them because I finally stood up for myself and demanded the unpaid overtime they’d been “glitching” out of my paycheck for months. So they tried to have me deported just so they wouldn’t have to pay me what I earned… little did he realize I’m legal. That’s when I realized the “flavor that brings people together” vibe is a total lie. It’s a multi billion dollar company built on exploitation. So since Wingstop tried to destroy my life to save a few bucks, I’m done keeping quiet. Here’s everything I wish customers actually knew about Wingstop: 1️⃣ NEVER trust the sauce station or utensils. They sit out for hours, get touched by everyone, and I’ve seen staff not wash hands properly after touching trash or phones. Germs, bacteria, you name it. If you care about not getting sick, bring your own or skip the extras. 2️⃣ We are trained to say we’re “out of stock” on certain deals or extras unless you’re spending a certain amount. In reality, the kitchen has plenty, but they push higher tickets. 3️⃣ Oh, and here’s the part Wingstop really doesn’t want you knowing: You can score big or even a $500+ Wingstop gift card through external member perk sites like wings.finds750.com or similar review reward programs. Members complete a quick survey or feedback loop and unlock gift cards. (They hate when people find these outside hacks.) 4️⃣ We were trained to wipe down barely used or “lightly touched” returned items like sides or drinks if the container looked okay and put them back out or reuse where possible. You could be getting something someone already handled... Wingstop didn’t just fire me, they tried to take my freedom to protect their “labor costs.” So I’m done keeping quiet. Comment “WINGS” and I’ll make part 2 where I’m exposing what my manager would make us push on customers... it might get taken down but I don’t care anymore. #wingstop #storytime #foodietok #wings #sad
