This!! My local university had a job posting I was interested in but I needed a bachelor's degree, 2 years of experience at least and the max pay was $12.00 an hour. 🙃💀

Min wage is under $8. The average wage for a 🇺🇸 is $15. Bare bones cost of living in most townships is a $30-35 wage. Dunno why everyone's so upset. 🤷♂️

My step son has a bachelor's in business and education. He works at a special needs school and makes 18 dollars an hour. I work in a factory and make 28.52 an hour .

It’s not the degree…it’s what the degree is in. Bachelor’s in psychology won’t get you much unfortunately. You would need to get your masters or doctorate to make it profitable

I saw a job posting that literally said “Compensation: $15/hr and good karma” but they wanted a bachelor’s degree.

I got a job as a butterfly keeper at a zoo last year. They required a biology or zoology degree. $13 an hour. I had a blast but I couldn’t live off of it.

I got a ba in psych and the only options are really Aba and it’s insane. I’m lucky I got a job for $25+ but it’s not consistent. Schools pay nothing for these roles. I’m forced into getting a masters

So many people have degrees now it’s almost not considered special in any career and folks find jobs that don’t even require it. I am one of those people who do not apply my job

It sounds like a paraprofessional job. First yes they need so much more money as they are amazing! However, I’ve never heard of one needing a bachelors. Many of ours are in school for education
