@luistun_: The biggest life-changer? Being poor and attending a rich private school. I grew up in public schools all my life, but I knew I wanted a private college education. Not just for the academics—but for the network and resources. USC molded me into who I am today. It taught me how to step into every room with a rich mindset, even if I didn’t grow up with wealth. As a first-gen, low-income student, I had to figure things out fast—and here are 3 lessons that helped me move quicker in both corporate and academic spaces: 💸The best opportunities come from social settings. Go to that party. Say yes to the dinner invite. Relationships change everything. 💸Be dummy confident—even if you’re underqualified. Confidence opens doors that resumes can’t. 💸Make networking your hobby or part-time job. Most doors are opened by people, not applications. Sharing these lessons to help other first-gen and low-income folks level up. Let’s keep opening doors. #FirstGenProud #LowIncomeAndThriving #RichMindset #FirstGenSuccess #CollegeToCorporate #USCGrad #StorytellingPower #ConfidenceIsCurrency #NetworkToNetWorth #OpportunitiesEverywhere #SocialCapital #UnderdogToLeader #LatinoSuccess #MinorityExcellence #FromStruggleToStrength #ScholarshipKid #PurposeDriven #SuccessTips #FirstGenCommunity #Rich #richlife #privateschool #usc #college
