Sounds good in theory, but I would imagine the bacon cooks only halfway and it would be really really greasy

No, I’m sorry! There is no way that bacon is getting cooked well enough on the inside do everything else the same but wrap the bacon on the outside

We have always par cooked the bacon. Otherwise it half raw and cheesy. Cook the bacon safe first
