I hate when people say they don’t know music theory. Yes you do. You might not know that it’s called a b7 or a min9 etc, but you still know the sound of is. Music IS theory, they are inseparable.

Phrygian Dominant (V degree of Harm. Minor scale), then I minor, some chromatic diminished chords resolving to Vmin or IVmin, fully diminished chord in inversions, etc
