@shannonmckinstrie: I got a comment the other day… “I thought we’re not supposed to use hashtags anymore?? I can’t keep up.” And honestly? I get it. There’s a LOT of trash advice out there 😮‍💨 (So I took the liberty of throwing some of it out for you in this Reel 😉) Here’s the truth: ➡️ Hashtags aren’t magic for reach anymore… BUT they’re still how people search. And I still get DMs like, “I found you through a hashtag!” So yeah…use them. ➡️ Also: “Negative hooks are the way to go viral now”? This is nothing new. Negative hooks are awesome! But they aren’t the *only* way, or a magical way to go viral. I see viral Reels with all kinds of hooks. With all that said, the content that wins? ✅ Simple ✅ Specific ✅ Shareable That’s the formula for easy Reels that go crazy! So no, you don’t need to overhaul your strategy every week. Stop overcomplicating it because Instagram isn’t that deep 💁‍♀️ Now go take the trash out (figuratively or literally… your call).
