in my opinion you need see their dogs the dog will show you how much they have experienced.yes I have gone through few dog training courses for my dog handling job unfortunately just because we been through the course doesn't mean we can work with the dogs

I took a dog biology and behavior course for fun, and the top thing that I took away (in addition to your certifications and experience) was the use of the word “cue” vs “command” because of how it signifies the expectation of the dog. Cue recognizes their free will and the fact that you are trying to encourage/request the desired behavior vs controlling them

I think it's also important to note that covering up behaviors isn't training a dog. so corrections will only get you so far to fix reactivity. it's looks nice and flashy to have a 2 week B&T dog that
