What people don’t see is that if the wiring isn’t large enough, the pump doesn’t get enough amps to keep fuel pressure up. Less amps, less fuel pressure in high load = lean in high load.

I always recommended and use the small aeromotive regulator kit. Comes with all -6 fittings and pressure gauge. Not much more than the c5 filter regulator

Noticed you pointed out the issue with the fuel filter leaking, my truck originally is a return style system, part of the rail, I’m going to returnless, but using stock lines

Think when I do my engine swap I’m gonna redo all the wiring in the vehicle and run a PDM so everything is controlled through one module and no relays and fuses will be required at all, might cost more but simplifies everything.

Getting my 98 K1500 LS swapped rn, dealing with a 250 causing too much pressure and the corvette apparently wasn’t enough so I ordered an aeromotive last Wednesday hopefully it helps!

Wish I’d have went with aeromotive hot wire kit instead of racetronix on my Colorado, it was DOA out of the box and they refused to do anything about it.
