i don't set reading goals because i feel like it reinforces the idea that reading is a chore and i want to just do it because i love it! like you don't set a netflix binge goal or a tiktok goal. why do we act like we're forcing ourselves to read

i gotta keep the reading goal the same cause I'm in a feast and famine situation with my brain. sometimes it takes 24 hours to read 3 books sometimes its 2 months😂😂😂

changing your reading goal either to more or less pmo like it's a goal/ challenge what's the point of it if you change it? it's about seeing what you thought you could read vs what you actually read, changing it defeats the whole purpose

I beat my reading goal by the end of April and I will not be raising it. And next year I’ll likely set the same low reading goal. The feeling of over achievement gives me dopamine.
