Wash and condition hair, add leave in conditioner, section hair, apply moisturizing products(lotion or creams), add the gel, defuse til dry, light layer of oil for best results. Hope this help

I usually make sure my hair is wet then I’ll apply a leave in conditioner or mousse, then gel, but if i use mousse then no gel
