Привет всём, кто здесь сидит и спрашивает откуда идёт раздельный счёт. Объясню так, как сама это понимаю, поэтому мои слова могут быть не 100% правдой. Предполагаю, что всё идёт от равноценных прав женщин и мужчин. И в России для некоторых людей как критерий равных прав - раздельный счёт. Чаще всего замечала, что если мужчина за раздельный счёт, то в основном "назло" русским феминисткам. Что-то вроде "если хотите равные права, то и платите за себя сами" и тп. Если женщины были за раздельный счёт, то хотели этим показать, что они вполне могу содержать себя сами, или они не "тарелочницы" (те кто пришел ради еды или потратить чужие деньги). Почему девушки в видео думают, что американцы за раздельный счёт? Думаю из-за представления, что у Вас более толерантно настроенное общество: лгбт, феминизм. И вероятно думают, что в Америке это такой же критерий равенства. Но я давно наслышана, что Американцы зачастую против раздельного счета. И хоть я легко могу заплатить за себя или кого-то ещё, мне очень приятно становится от такой позиции Американцев ☺ Надеюсь я объяснила достаточно хорошо, и переводчик ничего не испортил.
