SWIFT cant do its job on blockchain in the same way as it currently does.. If it uses a blockchain then they are just competing with anyone else in the same field. It loses its advantage. It might be in trouble. Foreign countries will want s more transparent standardised unmanipulated system of payments. Banks wont be the only financial institutions in the new system.
