Since you are the healthier sibling, why not have her live with you and your fiancé. Then you hire aids to cover shifts or a live in aid. Also, have family help too.???

I can’t imagine getting to the point of a little security & then uprooting her & knowing already what that adjustment is like. I cared for my mom for her last 4 1/2 years in her home.

I kept my mother home with home aid care until she die. Family around helped a lot. Outside home you do not know what are they doing with her. The best for her. Home family

Depending on the state, you can get funds to pay for in home caregivers. as a full-time caregiver it's just a big quagmire for good elder care.

I work at a facility for over 20 years now. The Alzheimer’s unit is undescribable. Just use your imagination. I wish you the best.

This is why we need to properly screen from current to end of life before placement. We all need to advocate for laws to prevent these greedy facilities from moving our loved ones due to cost.
