I honestly believe you. when I worked as a nurse in the jail some of the nicest people were the murderers and it’s kinda off putting how charming they try to be.

My brother is in prison for murder. It’s really easy to love them and have a good opinion of them because they don’t show that side. The man on the news was a stranger to me.

I don't know but I assume that on a survival mode level if you're in a prison with BAD people you have to block off why they're there or you'd go crazy. I may be totally wrong obvs
