Also for cars, the make or model matters. Research reliability and cost of the most common repairs. I bought my Prius mostly for the gas mileage but the repairs and maintenance are also affordable

Thank GOD my parents are super chill about me staying with them. I start college next year so finding a job/living situation aren’t worries. And I have a 2006 paid off Camry that gets me from A to B.

I LOVE TOO GOOD TO GO!!! depends on where u live but u can often get a meal for >$10, a bag of produce for $5, a box of pastries for $5, etc

Remember that certain jobs are recession proof this includes childcare. People can afford it (not all) advertise nanny services.

If you have space, you can grow your own food. A lot of libraries provide seed packets and have a little pantry too💜 And when comparing prices, look at unit price on the tag. That will help you learn
