I both love by hate this set. they did an awful job on the 747 imo.

The enterprise has actually been detached mid flight from a 747 and gone on to land in the early space shuttle days. Back when the 747 was still in the American livery tho.

That’s not true they did landing tests they flew up seperated the orbiter and it landed back at Edwards afb back in the 70’s the test bed was the enterprise
