Have you had any disease issues with corn-corn rotations? Seeing as corn on corn can trigger development of some diseases (grey leaf spot, anthracnose…etc) since they overwinter on corn residues.

corn roots don't grow up his get that fertilizer deeper in the ground. why not run anhydrous with dry cart ?

If possible, apply the fertilizer in furrow. Your crops will have more access to all the nutrients instead of broadcasting. There’s been plenty of studies to show that it improves yield!
