I edge both ways and they look completely the same. I actually get it straighter from the concrete side.

Edging from grass side will make a wider edge over time. Been edging from concrete side for 15 yrs and always had crisp edges.

I"ve een doing this for 30 yrs. I do it from the concrete side and yell at people doing it from the grass side. Most people make too big of an edge from the grass side. Too much of a dirt gap. Pssh.
