That’s why their flying rates are cheap. They get you when you check in, end up paying same as any other airline.

This is why I don’t fly Frontier or Spirit. If you add the bag cost into your flight, the price comes up to the same amount as Delta and United flights. Also both sucks at customer service

They do not work for Frontier they work for a contract company.. Us employees got laid off in 2015 .

They are! The employees have a goal for every flight to reach for extra charges More extra weight they claim more commission they get! A friend of mine who worked at the check in counter, told me.

spirit gets a lot of hate but look at them not being shady. they dont have crashes. they dont cancel or delay or overbook like some of these other airlines. I honestly like spirit a lot for bare bones flights.
