But there was something different about this one. Something electric. I spent hours studying his face the signature smirk, the calm charisma, the energy in his eyes. I laid down the outlines carefully, like laying the foundation of a home I would live in for days. The outline came next, slow and steady, almost like I was sculpting him out of light and shadow. The beard gave me a fight. Soft brushes. A paper stump worn thin from use. Every stroke felt like negotiation between chaos and clarity. When I posted the finished piece, I had no expectations. Just gratitude for surviving the battle. But then, the call came.
