@moveu: 💥 Think squats are the king of leg gains? Sorta. But let’s break it down. Squats are 🔥 for your quads—but not so much for your rectus femoris (that’s the quad muscle that crosses both your hip and knee). Why? ➡️ It shortens at the hip and lengthens at the knee during a squat = not much tension = not much gain. Want to actually hit that rec fem? 👉 Try leg extensions 👉 Or go old-school with sissy squats—they load it hard. And what about your hamstrings? Sorry, squats aren’t doing much there either. Hamstrings cross both the hip and knee, so like rec fem, they cancel themselves out during squats. Want real hammy gains? 👉 Romanian deadlifts (RDLs) 👉 Nordic curls if you dare. 💡 Bottom line: squats are solid, but not complete. Train smart, hit what squats miss. 🔗 For more tips like this, follow our friend @JPGCOACHING and fix yo sh!t at MoveU.com
