i'm a vet tech and its ruined everything! no dog parks, no windows down in the car, no meeting rando dogs on walks, no high stress environments + i'm judging families w working dogs who dont WORK them

I don’t get excited when people tell me they’re getting puppies because I know they’re going to be backyard bred. I also hate seeing dogs in stores bc I know they aren’t trained and it’s illegal

I hate that I notice everything. I can't just see a cute doggy, I see a coat that needs brushed, nails that need trimmed, stress signals, behaviors that could turn dangerous, etc, etc. It's exhausting

Girl…imagine working in the veterinary field or animal shelters. People HATE talking to me about dogs they want or bad behaviors etc. I’m SUCH a Debbie downer because I just know too much 😂

as an adult who works and owns my own dog, I look back at how my parents were taking care of my family dog and retrospectively I'm like HOW did that work lolol. seeing them now with my well raised pet

omg Sydney's dog was so obviously uncomfortable 😭 I am like this with cat videos, I have 5 cats and people will send me "funny" cat videos where the cats are obviously stressed, or even probably got hurt, and I hate them 😩
