@the_green_bird_brigade: How do I know they’re ready? 🤔 I have a list of things I like to see with every bird who comes into my care before the leave. They include: being on a good diet, exhibiting healthy natural behaviors (like playing with toys and bathing) and consistency around being handled. Jupiter is not a surrender. He is a bird I am working with in collaboration with @dallasparrots so that he can have a better life. Despite an excellent upbringing, he struggled with basic handling and diet, while Chubs, a 40 year old Amazon needed help in all departments.
