You clearly lack morality… who are you to tell valedictorians of Ivy League colleges… the most brilliant of people.. that their knowledge shouldn’t be used to better the world and speak out against injustices. THEY HAVE A BETTER MORAL COMPASS THAN YOU. WE ALL SHOULD PUT HUMANITY AT THE FOREFRONT (& yes even if it comes as a heavy sacrifice). wrong. if you know ANYTHING about american history, you would know universities have always been in the forefront when it comes to protesting for change. ex. vietnam war, south african apartheid, etc.

Simply put*… i’m not sure if you’re based in America, but the students have always been at the forefront of protest… civil rights, Vietnam, South African apartheid etc she was the class president.. she clearly stated what majority wanted which was a divestment from aiding and abetting genocide.. shame on you for thinking a “celebration” is more important than actually UTILIZING the lessons and knowledge from the degree they’ve obtained.. it’s as if you’re missing the whole point of education.
