@sophiemorrisofficial: I couldn’t believe it when I spotted The Finnebrogue Naked Bacon in Aldi this week—it’s one of those clever swaps I’ve been banging on about for ages, and Aldi have decided to start stocking it!! 😍 If you’ve never tried it, this bacon is free from the preservatives nitrites and nitrates (which are usually found in processed meats), which are additives that we do want to be mindful of consuming too much of. It’s very rare to find bacon in the supermarket without those additives which is why I love the Naked brand and to see Aldi now stocking it—and at such a good price too—is such a win 🙌 We are genuinely shifting the supermarket landscape, slowly but surely, product by product. This is proof that we as consumers do have power and as long as supermarkets like Aldi can see that we care about the quality of the ingredients in our food, they WILL respond to that! It might feel small, but it’s exactly this kind of progress that leads to bigger change.
