What about kids that need to film things that the school are doing. Many schools do things that are outrageous and many kids can't film then so school will get away with stuff. Some students have medical things on their phones that they need access to. Some kids who are maybe having a shutdown or meltdown etc cant speak and rely on voice apps on their phone (just cos uve never heard of it doesnt mean it isnt a thing) some parents need to contact their kids directly and can't message the school. Some kids especially SEND kids listen to music to help concentrate. Some kids need to check their timetable to see where they are if they lose their paper one. Yes there are many pros but also many cons. Also what about the kids that skip lessons and go on their phone to reach a crisis line. Bevause some kids do.

This is really not a big deal - many schools have already banned phone use in schools. Parents need to get a grip - call the school in an emergency!

I have been saying this to everybody that I know schools should not allow the children in the class with their mobile phones. They are there to learn not play with the phones so that is a good idea purchase for phones. How are they meant to learn if they had to phone on them all the time? Schools are for learning.
