@sophiemorrisofficial: This one is surprising as you’d think the two baguettes are pretty much the same with one just having a few seeds added, but it’s not the case. The plain sourdough one has a great ingredients list —and the fibre and protein content is higher than you might expect! A lot of people might automatically reach for the seeded sourdough thinking it’s the healthier option, but it turns out the seeded one has added sugars—invert sugar syrup and wheat syrup—which are just not necessary. And when you look at the nutritional information it actually has a little less fibre and quite a significant amount less protein than the plain version! For those reasons I’d definitely go for the plain sourdough baguette and it’s such a good example of why reading food labels can be so helpful when making choices. The seeded one sounds like the better choice, but the plain sourdough wins on ingredients and nutrition. So if you’re picking up a baguette in Tesco, this is a really clever swap to keep in mind 👌 #sophiesswaps #cleverswaps #readlabels
