I’ve had the same problem in San Antonio, we are from the panhandle, we take everything out now and just leave the damn car unlocked, they see there is nothing close the door and nothings broke

Same thing happened to my husband’s truck in parking lot at hotel near River walk last year. Two other pickup trucks same area same night all Chevys .

Don’t leave a big enough deposit in a bank bag in your truck 🙃 if you know it’s notorious for f250s to be tampered with go to lengths that won’t jeopardize it. You basically played devils advocate and chanced it. Hope your pew pew isn’t used in more crimes. They won’t reimburse you for the money unfortunately.
