I have had this argument MANY times, did civilians die during the bombing? yes absolutely, but how many lives were actually SAVED by us doing that?? They legitimately would have fought until they were all dead, period.

I’m not pro socialism, but if you really think about it Detroit was ruined by capitalism, not socialism. The reason Detroit is in such despair is because all the jobs that used to be there have been outsourced for cheaper labor.

I literally lived in Japan for 2 years, we lived in the Prefecture of Nagasaki. There is no radiation in neither of the cities. Now Fukushima is ENTIRELY different. That is actually not liveable much like Chernobyl

The radiation of a nuclear bomb stays in the area that was hit for weeks or months, depending on how strong the nuclear bomb was. Yes you can visit it after a certain time, but not right away

Nuclear blasts have a side effect called “induced radioactivity” which means stable elements turn into radioactive due to neutrons and other particles emitted by explosion. It can be significant and long lasting if bomb is designed that way.
