Feats do not at all represent mastery, especially for an avatar. Roku was doing massive level feats during his training too. theyre powerful, thats the point. ≠ mastery. It was stated in both shows themselves Aang did not master all elements.

Aang's fire even without the Avatar State overpowered Ozai's (the strongest firebender canonically). Let that sink in. Aang is the strongest firebender canonically.

Fire is airs spiritual opposite, but physically they are sibling elements. Once aang got over his mental issues with fire it started to become natural to him.

We see korra do better things with fire. He has only had it for maybe 2 weeks and ofc he didn't master it. He had earth for a longer time and it's stated he didn't master is at the end, so he definitely didn't master fire. Although I still agree that his fire attacks were veryyy impressive

He’s decent as a firebender but then again he’s also in the avatar state in that clip. With more experience and training he def could be better
