I learned it twice from moving schools between 1st and 2nd grade but I'm pretty sure they stopped teaching it in my area within 5yrs of that. despite learning it twice- I still mess up some of the letters sometimes 😩

I loved reading because I got to move up a color on the rainbow… reading was fun,, remember book reports!! I loved them. They dont do any of that anymore

I agree, it’s a necessity! How can they look at important historical documents written in cursive and not be able to read it! To feel the thrill of understanding what is written by the hand of our founding fathers and not need a “translated” PRINT copy! It dilutes the power of those words!🙋🏻♀️

I was already planning on teaching my kids cursive this summer. I’m hoping that it can help them slow down and be mindful, and maybe improve the chicken scratch they call handwriting
