First week of lockdown and my husband was teaching from my hospital room. I was hospitalized for a secondary infection caused by surgery. His principal asked why he was late to login. Princ had been told by 3 people I was hospitalized

I ended up delivering my baby prematurely via an emergency c-section and my principal sent someone over to the hospital each day to pick up my lesson plans and drop off work to grade!

I was called in the ICU sitting by my mother’s deathbed by a school counselor requesting me to change a final exam score so a senior could March at graduation. The answer NO. I complained to the administrator. It never happened again.

I was in the ER waiting for an MRI and my (now former) principal wanted me to zoom in to a meeting about a meeting about a meeting. No, you didn’t misread that. It was a meeting about an upcoming meeting about a past meeting 🙄

I was in the Emergency room with my daughter who tried to commit suicide and was so afraid of loosing my job I was on my tablet making sure there were lessons in Schoology so the admin who was trying to make me look bad didn’t have a leg to stand on. I am still teaching at that school and he is not. I did what I had to do to secure our future while still being there when my daughter came back into the room. Today my daughter is a lot healthier and our relationship is stronger. She never saw my stress only my love.
