As someone who just learned D&D… Shadowheart’s spells are based on her Wisdom stat, so the higher her Wisdom, the more accurate and powerful her spells are. If she’s missing a lot, it’s probably because her Wisdom is too low, or people are using her for melee instead of spells. Also use buffs to your advantage.

ugh, y'all don't know how this game/DnD works and it shows. Shadowheart doesn't have a problem missing, the game has a problem telling you which stats matter for what spells. Alot of her early spells scale their "to hit" with Intelligence, not wisdom. There are mods to fix this, or changing her to a different subclass works.

if you want her to be a cleric but also do decent melee. then respec & dip into charisma & then take 1 level of warlock Hexblade & use bind Hex weapon on your main melee weapon & it uses your charisma modifier. This is why I love dipping into warlock as a paladin because you can keep strength stat at 10 & start game at 17 charisma & go wild with constitution & Dex. By end of act 1 you dodge most attacks or tank the ones you can't & your melee damage mixed with smites is insane. plus your warlock spell slots help for paladin smites.

all these comments saying it's a skill issue when they've changed her from trickery to a domain that Shar doesnt hold? like sure you can change it but from an RP stand point that feels wrong just to get better combat numbers, especially when most agree trickery in bg3 is, a lot of misses

Skill issue. Play her as tempest cleric, use water + lightning dmg, lightning bonus from tempest cleric and luck of the far realms. Rip enemy.
